Martin Kampmann not only scored a career-defining victory by toppling Jake Ellenberger last week at The Ultimate Fighter: Live Finale. For his efforts, “The Hitman” picked up $84,000 from the UFC, according to information released by the Nevada Athletic Commission to MMAJunkie’s Dann Stupp.
Kampmann’s comeback victory netted him a $42,000 win bonus. Ellenberger picked up $42,000 in the losing effort.
Several members of the most recent season of TUF were involved in the card, including the entire preliminary event. In the finals of the tournament, Mike Chiesa defeated Al Iaquinta to become the newest Ultimate Fighter.
